Acclaimed singer, songwriter, musician and producer David Shaw is the founding front man of The Revivalists and a maverick of an artist following the direction of his own internal compass. As both a leader and solo artist Shaw stays riling up his raw rock ‘n’ roll impulses to bring to life his personal journey through lyrical storytelling. Releasing two solo albums in the past several years his self-titled record and Take A Look Inside saw David take a wander down his own path, diving into the depths of his mind and shining a more introspective light on his music. In addition to those individual works, his band The Revivalists have released five studio albums garnering over a billion global streams, a triple platinum breakout single, Alternative and Triple A chart hits including several No. 1s, sold out tours, and major media recognition, David also spearheaded the creation of The Revivalists’ Rev Causes, the band’s philanthropic umbrella fund which supports the essential work of organizations handpicked by the band dedicated to reviving and investing in our communities, health, and environment. These organizations include After School Matters, Mercy Ships, Musically Fed, Trans Lifeline, ACLU of Louisiana, Healing Minds NOLA, New Orleans Family Justice Alliance, and Restore The Mississippi River Delta.and more. As a proud Ohio native, David also created, produces, and hosts the Big River Get Down in Hamilton, OH, —an annual two-night concert event that gives back to the ongoing renaissance of his hometown, donating all proceeds to the City of Hamilton and RiversEdge Concert Series.
