The Revivalists' Otherside of Paradise at Sea
Vermont-raised, New Orleans-based singer-songwriter Hans Williams grew up on his parents' record collection—Al Green, Tracy Chapman, Steely Dan, James Brown, Tower of Power, and Funkadelic. Hans has a mix of soul, folk, and groove running through his veins that shapes the music he creates in New Orleans, which like his parents’ record collection, features an endless wellspring of sound and spirit.
Today, Hans writes songs that are both lyrically personal and built for catharsis, threading emotion into melody in ways that resonate with anyone searching for the same release. With his band, his sound expands—introspection remains at the core, but it's wrapped in rhythms that get people moving. His live shows work to balance reflection with energy, creating moments where the audience and band feed off each other without losing the emotional weight of the songs.
Hans has played shows all over the US and in Europe. Most recently, he spent 2025 touring with The Revivalists in North America and with Hazlett in Europe. In 2024, Hans and his band concluded a 26-date North American tour where 90 percent of the dates were sold out.
From Vermont to New Orleans to stages across continents, Hans Williams proves that honest songwriting and an independent spirit can take you further than you'd think—one show, one song, and one groove at a time.
